About Yufen Xie, PhD
Yufen Xie leads Incinta’s IVF laboratory, overseeing its design, procedures, staff development and quality systems. Her laboratory work supports the team’s goal of helping patients build healthy families.
Her training includes a medical degree and OB/GYN residency at Zhong Shan University, a doctorate in Medical Genetics at Essen University in Germany, and postdoctoral research at Wayne State University in Michigan.
Her research examines ways to limit stress during embryo development. She has contributed more than 30 peer-reviewed papers and several book chapters to the field of assisted reproduction.
